The Scientific Coordination (SC) supports the Director in the effective implementation of all research activities. It is the primary body ensuring that our work is technically sound, scientifically rigorous, and strategically aligned with our long-term goals.
Key Missions
Technical & Scientific Support
Provides in-depth technical and scientific support for the design and development of innovative training and research programs.
Strategic Advice
Advises the Management Committee on critical strategic decisions related to the direction of research and training initiatives.
Building Partnerships
Actively assists TIDRC / CReMIT in forging and strengthening strategic partnerships and collaborations in research and training.
Composition

President
The Director of TIDRC / CReMIT (serves as the President of the SC).

Internal Members
The Deputy Directors of TIDRC / CReMIT.

External Members
External experts appointed by the Rector of the University of Abomey-Calavi, based on the Director's recommendation and approved by the Management Committee (MC).

Key Role
The Secretary of the SC is a Deputy Director, appointed by the Director and validated by the MC.
Meeting Frequency
The Scientific Coordination holds its ordinary sessions once every quarter, convened by the Director. Extraordinary sessions can also be held at the request of any of its members to address timely scientific opportunities or challenges.
