One of our key scientific partners, internationally recognized for its expertise in public health and entomological research.

Our Collaboration

Our collaboration with LSTM focuses on high-level research projects and student training, with the shared goal of strengthening local capacity and driving innovation in vector-borne disease control.

LSTM supports several strategic initiatives, including:

  • Assessing the impact of insecticide resistance and exposure on Plasmodium infection levels and prevalence in the malaria vector Anopheles gambiae.
  • Identifying genes linked to insecticide resistance in Culex quinquefasciatus, the vector of lymphatic filariasis.
  • Developing entomological indicators to evaluate the public health value of next-generation long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs).

Through this partnership, we strengthen our scientific capacity while contributing to major advancements in the fight against tropical diseases.
