The General Assembly (GA)

Role & Responsibilities

The GA contributes to shaping the general policy of the Center to help it achieve its objectives. It acts as a consultative and approval body.

Key Responsibilities

Reviews and Approves Reports

Reviews and approves the scientific, academic, and financial reports of the Center at the end of each calendar year.

Provides Strategic Opinions

Provides opinions on the orientations proposed by the Management Committee.

Gives Budgetary Feedback

Gives feedback on the annual budget suggested by the Management Committee (MC).

Composition

  • Leadership

    The Director (also chairs the GA), the Deputy Directors, and the Secretary General.

  • Statutory Members

    Statutory researchers and teacher-researchers, public servants or contract agents conducting activities at TIDRC / CReMIT.

  • Affiliated Researchers

    Affiliated researchers and teacher-researchers from partner institutions on mission at the Center.

  • Student Representatives

    Master’s research students.

Meeting Frequency

The General Assembly holds its ordinary session once a year. An extraordinary session can be convened at the request of two-thirds (2/3) of the Management Committee members.
